Police confiscated shabu worth P40,000 from three persons who were arrested in a buy bust operation in Camino Nuevo Sunday afternoon.

A police report disclosed that men of the anti-illegal drugs special operation task force under Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon conducted a drug buy bust operation that resulted in the arrest of the target suspect identified as Edcel Aragones y Dayo, 34.

Recovered from his possession were four large sachets and 15 small sachets containing shabu, P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.

In the same operation, police also caught Alan Tan y Enojo of Gov. Alvarez and Raymond Graciano y Enriquez of Tumaga engaging in a shabu session. Confiscated from their possession were a small box containing dried marijuana leaves and paraphernalia.

An hour later, the same team conducted another buy bust operation in the same place resulting in the arrest of Lyndon Sharip y Surdilla, 25. Recovered from his possession were two small sachets of shabu and P200 marked money.

The suspects were detained while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations.—Dan Toribio
