We hope that the local populace will be there with us in the City Colesum to throw support to our local boxers, Navarro told reporters in an interview.

Navarro disclosed Marcial and the three other Zamboagueño boxers are still in Manila wrapping up their last week of training and sparring.

The Golpe De Zamboangueno , which is promoted by the Rolando Navarro Sports Promotion, is sanctioned by the Games and Amusement Board (Boxing Division) Zamboanga City Officer-in-charge Vicente G. Cabalog.

Cabalog said that several prominent boxing officials from Manila are expected to be coming to the city for the said prestigious boxing event.
