City Jail Warden Chief Insp. Julius Arro on Saturday revealed that they continue to receive threats from the Abu Sayyaf wanting to carry out a daring plot to spring 57 detained sub leaders and members whose transfer to San Ramon Prison and Penal Farm is yet to be carried out.

Arro said they are still on alert and are implement very strict rules for people coming to visit their detained relatives to avoid any rescue plot by the Abu Sayyaf.

The jail warden disclosed that he has already received an order from the Department of Justice in Manila for the transfer of the deatined ASG members, but there are preparations and measures to be madebefore they will move them to San Ramon Prison.

Despite the threats, Arro assured that if the ASG will execute their rescue plot, they will not be successful as the BJMP personnel are very prepared to deal with it.

“We are not lowering our guards that’s why we are on alert 24/7,” Arro said.

The jail warden, on the other hand, has called on the visitors to cooperate with the jail personnel and understand why there are strict rules and regulations on the visiting hours.
