OWWA-9 lauds ‘Search’ winners PDF Print E-mail

The Regional Welfare Office-IX of the Overseas Workers Welfare administration (OWWA-RWO-9) has a lauded the winners in the “National Search for the Outstanding Sons and Daughters of OFW.”

A total of 40 participants joined the search nationawide with only 20 winners chosen including Alab Carl Gatinao and Ian Isaiah from Zamboanga Sibugay.

“Alab and Isaiah are OWWA’s pride; they serve as inspiration to all the sons and daughters of OFW. You are really a good model to all the youth and hope of our community, “ OWWA Regional Director Hassan Gabra  T. Jumdain said.

He said OWWA will continue to serve the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW’s) and to improve more the programs and services to all the stakeholders.

He also extended his congratulatory message to the parents of all winners in the recently concluded “National Search for the Outstanding Sons and Daughters of OFW Students Achievers 2014,” sponsored by the Catholic Bishops  Conference of the Philippines ( CBCP) and the Episcopal for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People (ECMI) ,

“I really salute all parents who are working abroad and sacrifice their lives just to give a good future to their children,” Jumdain said.
