Asuncion gets 3rd term as JCI Senate prexy PDF Print E-mail

The 2015 officers of the JCI Phils. Inc. Zamboanga Chapter headed by their third-termer president, JCI Sen.  Nathaniel “Nonong” C. Asuncion, will take their oath of office during the chapter’s 32nd Induction Ceremony Saturday night, March 28, at the Roof Deck of Garden Orchid Hotel, this city.

Anchored on the national theme “Responsive Partnership to Create Positive Chang,” the event will have JCI Sen. Alipio F. Fernandez Jr., 2015 national president of JCI Senate Phils., as the guest of honor and inducting officer.

JCI Sen. Victor J. Yu, 2015 national vice president for Mindanao, JCI Senate Phils., will do the honor of charging the officer and members of the Board of Directors. Congressman Celso L. Lobregat of District 2 is expected to give an inspirational message.

The occasion marks JCI Senate ?amboanga’s 32 years of existence, having been established in 1983 with former Zamboanga City mayor JCI Sen. Joaquin F. Enrique? Jr. as the first chapter president.

Since then, the JCI Senate Zamboanga has had 23 presidents, but among them only JCI Sen. Asuncion has the privilege of serving three consecutive terms (2013-2015), the first ever in the history of the chapter.

The other chapter officers for 2015 to take their oath are: JCI Sen. Norman Francis S. West, vice president; JCI Sen. Evelyn T. Amik, secretary;  JCI Sen. Mario L. Atilano, asst. secretary;  JCI Sen. Leonard Y. Ong, treasurer;  JCI Sen. Gordon Go, asst. treasurer; and  JCI Sen. Robert T. Enriquez, PRO.

The members of the Board of Directors are JCSen. Atilano D. Alabata, JCI Sen. Efren Aranez, JCI Sen. Ricardo S. Baban Jr. , JCI Sen. Ernesto S. Miranda, JCI Sen. Melvin V. Gapol, and JCI Sen. Reynaldo R. Lim.— Vic Larato
