A total of 99 enthusiastic students of Zion Evangelical School. Inc. of which 64 are high school and 35 elementary, will take another step to a new horizon of their career as they commence their graduation rites.

The 19th  Closing Exercises (grade school) and 17th Commencement Ceremonies (high school) will be held at Astoria Plaza, Grand Astoria Hotel Zamboanga City, today, March 30, 2015 at 1:00 ‘o clock in the afternoon.

Guest Speaker is Atty. Melchor Rev K. Sadain, Councilor of District 1 and a well-known legal practitioner will inspire the graduates with his thoughts and experiences

Leading the ceremonial procession is the school’s  President Dr. Paulino R. Ersando, together with the Guest Speaker, faculty and staff

Presentation of Candidates for graduation will be officiated by the School Principal, Mrs. Mvlene S. Deslate. and to Accept and Proclaim the students as “Graduates” will be done by the Education Supervisor for Private Schools. Dr. Evelyn T. Villa.

Distribution of Academic Certificates and Presentation of Academic Awards will be done by the school president, to be assisted by the school principal.

Princess Zachary Mae P. Sison leads the graduates as Class Valedictorian for High School and Muhammad Akbar N. Maldisa as the First Honor for Grade School. The two excelled in both Academic and Non-Academic activities during the school year. They showed positive attitudes toward education, hence, making them outstanding among other students

High School Class Salutatorian is Aldalyn J. Handa followed by Evan Jeo A. Alanano - First Honorable Mention, Jenny Vee C. Chiong — Second Honorable Mention,  Rabia S. Hirayat—Third Honorable Mention, Jennifer C. Marzo, Gerralynne S. Deslate, and Marta Lyra H. Despalo who are named as With Honors.

In the Grade School batch,  Maldisa  is followed by Sarah J. Dais — Second Honor. Tadzkeerah P. Sali — First

Honorable Mention, Nichole Angelica L. Lua — Second Honorable Mention, Rizel Hannah G. Que — Third Honorable Mention, and With Honors are: Marku Jhirou B. Deang, Louise Anne Q. Matuz, Nurfiya D. Laja, Adriane John T. Garrucho,  Jonathan T. Nebres, Karylle Faith A. Lozada, Aila Nadine G. Dela Cruz and Claudette F. Natavio.

With this graduation of Batch 2015, Zion Evangelical School takes pride in acknowledging and recognizing the following outstanding alumni: 2nd  Lieutenant Genesis Dizon, who recently graduated as Salutatorian in his class Sinag-Lahi at Philippine Military Academy; Dorothy Labrador who excelled in his Education class at Ateneo de Zamboanga University, and now finishing his Ph.D as scholar of Ateneo; Jennifer Tibayan, Batch 2010-2011 who is currently graduating as Summa Cum Laude; and Jasper Andrew C. Adjarani, graduated last year at Ateneo de Zamboanga Universitv as Suma Cum Laude, and there are still many others.
