Men of the Sinunuc Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Hingming Ladjaali exhumed the body of a 16-year-old boy in Barangay Maasin Saturday afternoon.

Initial investigation disclosed that Mrs. Luisa Presco had appeared at the police station to seek assistance for her missing adopted son Patrick Tee y Agrida, who disappeared five days ago from Saturday.

Presco suspected that Patrick was killed and was buried on the garbage pile at the back of the house of Riener Romer Rojas y Compra, 31, where strong putrid smell emanated.

Acting on Mrs. Presco’s plea, Ladjaali and his men went to Maasin along with the complainant and exhumed Patrick’s body which was in a state of decomposition.

Police said Rojas escaped and eluded arrest upon their arrival.

Police said the victim and the suspect were involved in drug activities in the west coast.
