The No. 7 most wanted person under the area of responsibility of Police Station 9 based in Ayala was arrested in Barangay Anuling Saturday afternoon.

Noel Rojas y Inclan, 39, of Sitio Pole Diutay, La Paz, was arrested on the strength of a warrant for two counts of murder with case number 30305 and 30306.

The warrant was issued by Judge Gregorio Dela Peña III of the Regional Trial Court Branch 12, with no recommended bail bond.

Rojas was brought to the Ayala Police Station pending his turnover to the court.

A police report disclosed that Rojas has been wanted for a long time after he was linked to the killing of two persons in the city’s western corridor.

Around 1:35 p.m. Saturday, policemen led by Sr. Insp. Ramon Bautista spotted him in the interior of Anuling and immediately he was cornered and arrested. — Dan Toribio Jr.
