Two knife-wielding men robbed a store of P2,000 in a holdup in Sta. Maria Monday afternoon.

A police report disclosed that two persons — one described as 5’9" in height, wearing black jacket, more or less 30 years old having medium built and the other — 5’3" tall, wearing yellow T-shirt, entered the store of Mayleen Keith Lee, and pretended as customers.

Moments later, the two men announced holdup while pointing a knife at Lily Wee, the store attendant.

Police said the holduppers grabbed the money from the cashier booth then sped away.

The incident was reported to the police for investigation. —Dan Toribio
