After a month-long surveillance, police yesterday raided the house of an alleged big-time drug pusher and confiscated sizeable amount of shabu at Alvarez Compound in Pilar Street, Barangay Zone 4.

Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Eric Elumba of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13, men of the Police Station 11 led by Chief Insp. Edilberto Alvarez and Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon swooped down on the house of Eric Wee.

During the search, policemen recovered from his bed room several sachets containing shabu and drug paraphernalia.

In an interview, Wee admitted he has been selling and using shabu at their residence.

He said that often times his customers used to have shabu session inside his bedroom.

Police said before the raid, they had conducted surveillance operations for one month followed by a “test buy” to confirm that there is drug trade activities.

Reports said  that some parents of female teenagers have filed complaints with the police against Wee for allegedly using minor in sex activities.

We was brought to the city police office while cases for violations of sections 5, 11, 12 and 15 will be filed against him. —  Dan Toribio
