Recodo’s ‘queen of all shabu queens’ falls PDF Print E-mail

A woman described by the police as the “queen of all shabu queens” operating in Recodo was finally arrested during a buy-bust operation carried out by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency last Tuesday afternoon.

PDEA’s operation officer Marvin Santos identified those arrested during the buy-bust operation as Nurhana Musa Lao, 54, married, the alleged “shabu queen”,  her son Pedemar Lao Usman, 38, and her niece Maurine Isabelo Taraji, 28.

PDEA agents confiscated from their possession two large sachets of shabu weighing more or less 100 grams and marked money.

The buy bust operation was carried out at their house at Candido Street, Tetuan.

Nurhana has been in the PDEA’s order of battle. She is considered as a big-time shabu pusher operating for more than a decade already with several the city’s west area.

Meanwhile, two other female pushers were arrested by men of the Central Police Station’s SAIDSOTF led by Sr. Insp. Elmer Solon in two separate operations.

Around 2:45 p.m., the team arrested Sedralen Alano y Jamanf, alias Lala, 33, married, of Baliwasan Tabuk.

Confiscated from her possession were 16 small size sachets of suspected shabu, 3 medium size, marked money and drug paraphernalia.

Around 9:20 p.m. the same team arrested Salma Samsaraji y Jalaidi, 45, married of Sta. Barbara.

Confiscated from her possession were a large size sachet of shabu, marked money and a cellphone.— Dan Toribio
