Three illegal vendors of cellphone vendors were held by the police amid crackdown against all kinds of vendors crowding the sidewalks down the Universidad de Zamboanga buidling last Monday afternoon.

Zamboanga City Public Safety Company commander Supt. Ariel Huesca disclosed that he and his men appeared at the said place around 1:50 p.m. and held Daniel Salim of Sta. Catalina, Alquazar Jimlan Asarin of Tugbungan and Jeffrey Aliando Sandongan of Indanan, Sulu.

Huesca’s team confiscated 12 assorted cellphones, two globe tattoo USBs, one power bank, Samsung headset, Samsung battery, Samsung tablet, Lenovo tablet and improvised stands.

The three vendors as well as the seized items were turned over to the City Hall’s COMPAC for proper disposition. — Dan Toribio
