The Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office has prepared a marshall plan and secuirity measures for the school opening in June among the different schools in the province.

Sibugay Police Director Sr. Supt.  Jose Bayani L. Gucela said his command  and the different municipal police stations in the province have set up a security  marshall plan in  partnership with the Department of Education and local government units for the school opening and the Brigada Eskwela  2015.

According to Gucela,  his command and all policemen of the different  municipal stations have given full support to the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela program.

“We are always on red alert. The threat of lawlessness, kidnapping and other criminalities are always there. We can not lower our guard. Our troops are working hard to ensure the security of each municipality with the help of the populace”, Gucela said.

He urged the people to be security conscious and help authorities defeat criminals “because lawless elements  never make any choice who are their victims. If they know that the they have time and opportunity  to  commit crimes. They strike anytime  and anywhere like a thief in the night.” —  Allen Abastillas
