Men of the Divisoria Police Station led by Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines have unmasked the two gunmen who shot and wounded in Boalan the barangay chairman of Buan, Siasi, Sulu at dawn the other day.

A police report disclosed that the victim, Redzmar Anni y Tan, 37, married, of Villa Teresa Subdivision, Mercedes, this city, told policemen that the persons who shot him were his brother-in-law Elgin Bahjin of Sanroe Subdivision, San Roque,  who was driving the black Toyota Vios with no displayed plate number, while the triggerman was a certain Uttoh.

The victim told the police that he has a marital problem with his wife regarding the custody of their children. He added that his brother-in-law had allegedly harassed and threatened to kill him.

After Anni revealed to the police some information about the suspects, Delumpines and his men swooped down on the residence in San Roque, but the suspects and the car were no longer in the area.

To recall, around 1 a.m., May 19, Anni was driving his motorcycle heading for Mercedes when two men aboard a car chased and one of them shot him twice hitting his arm.

Delumpines and his men have readied charges against the suspects. —  Dan Toribio Jr.
