The Civil Service Commission Region-10 based in Cagayan de Oro City has given the Land Transportation Office-9’s Driver License Renewal Center located at Yubengco Mall in Putik an excellence rating performance  in the delivery of efficient quality time management to its clients.

The rating was made during a surprise ocular inspection on Tuesday, May 19, by an officer of Civil Service Commssion-10 who was disguised as an applicant of renewal of student permit to drive.

LTO-9-DLRC Chief Hapsa Taha- Aspi disclosed that a male person disguised as an applicant came in to get a student permit to drive.

She explained to the applicant with humility and courteously that her office does not  issue student permit to drive but only renew driver license.

Taha-Aspi recalled the applicant asked to go out and come back again in the afternoon. He returned asking to renew his student permit. Then his student permit was renewed.  While the processing was underway, the applicant asked  the DLRC personnel on how to deliver their services with efficient and quality time management.

Aspi told him that even though her office space is small and there is frequent brownouts, it serves a minimum of 119 applicants a day.

“We see to it to make a fast double service when power resumes either in the morning or in the afternoon,” Aspi said.

After the many questions and good observance of the applicant, he declared that he is from CSC-10 based in Cagayan de Oro City.

Last March 24, 1015, the Civil  Service Commssion-9  also conducted a surprise ocular inspection of LTO-9’s DLRC and also gave the same excellence rating. — Allen Abastillas
