A total of 812 persons benefited from a series of free  medical- dental and operation tuli activities conducted  recently in joint undertaking by the government and civic organizations.

Chief Insp. Modesto Mecaydor, Police Regional Office-9-Regional Health Service 9 Medical Dispensary chief, said the series of medical missions were carried out in Barangays Lapakan and Manicahan.

In Barangay Lapakan, 40 persons were given free medical consultations, 120 dental operations and 55 circumcisions.

In Barangay Manicahan. 220 persons were received free medical consultations, 79 dental operations and  250 free circumcisions. Clear Vision Optical Clinic gave 120 reading glasses.

Participating groups were the Special Action Force  55th Battalion, PRO-9- RHS 9, Western Mindanao Command  Medical Team,  Naval Forces Western Mindanao Medical Team, National Statisitic Office-9,  545 Engineering Brigade of Philippine Marines,  Zamboanga City Health Office, Philippine National Red Cross Zamboanga City Chapter,  Ateneo De Zamboanga University’s Medical College, Western Mindanao Power Corp. and Zamboanga City Medical Society. — Allen Abastillas
