Celso inspects Cawa-Cawa drainage PDF Print E-mail

Cong. Celso L. Lobregat called on Barangay Chairman Hussin Sangkula of Barangay Zone 1 and together they inspected the ongoing construction of drainage facilities in R.T Lim Boulevard. The project with a contract amount of P2,800,967.21 involved the construction of 282 lineal meters drainage facilities in front of Camp Batalla, Archbishop’s Palace and other sections of the Cawa-Cawa Road.

Councilor Charlie Mariano and Councilor Ismael Musa accompanied Rep. Lobregat in the inspection of various infrastructure projects appropriated by the National Government through the identification of Congressman Lobregat. Among them are the drainage facilities in Barangay Zone I.

The construction of the drainage facility was personally requested from the congressman by Chairman Sangkula last year and in turn, Lobregat included this in the Regular Local Infrastructure Project (RLIP) in the General Appropriations Act (GAA) 2015. The project is already 60 percent completed and is constructed by ZET construction.There are 45 projects in District 1 included in the 2015 RLIP amounting to Php 199,840,001.25.

Sangkula has already requested additional Local Infrastructure project for 2016. Congressman Lobregat informed the Barangay Chairman that he will include the same in the GAA 2016.
