2 more warrants served on teacher facing sex charges PDF Print E-mail

Another warrant of arrest for two counts for violation of Republic Act 7610 was served the other day on a volunteer teacher who is facing sexual molestation charges and who is already detained at the Zamboanga City Reformatory Center.

Men of the Central Police Station proceeded to the city jail and served the warrant on Johnny Piscos, who went on hiding but was arrested on June 17.

The warrant was issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 15 on June 3, 2015 for violation of Section 5 (b) of the Republic Act 7610 with case numbers 30757 and 30761.

The court recommended P180,000 and P80,000 respectively for his temporary liberty.

At present Piscos is facing four counts for the same offense but report said that there will be two more warrants expected to be issued by the court for the same offense.

Piscos was arrested on June 17 in Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur on the strength of the first two warrants for the violation of RA 7610. He was later was fetched by men of the Sinunuc Police Station and taken to the court before he was committed to the city jail.

Piscos became controversial after he allegedly molested nine young male pupils of Southcom Elementary School several months ago. – Dan Toribio Jr.
