A water refilling businessman was shot dead by a gunman near Young’s Town in Purok 8, Barangay Recodo last Wednesday afternoon.

The fatality was identified as Jobel Yap Andicoy, 38, married of Dacon Homes, Recodo. He sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and died on the spot.

A police report disclosed that Andicoy together with his helper Michael T. Quijano had just delivered gallons of water at the Young’s Town around 3 p.m. when a gunman appeared and shot him several times while they were about to leave the place,

Police said Andicoy was driving a delivery truck and while moving backward, the gunman opened fire at him.

Quijano was spared by the killer, who disappeared after the incident.

Police recovered five spent shells and three slugs of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.
