The Land Transportation Office-9 warns owners of  motorvehicles  to carry their registration papers while driving as the office is in full implemention of the “No Registration, No Travel” policy nationwide.

Assistant Regional Director  and  concurrent Law Enforcer DivisionChief Mohammad Yusof Lamping disclosed that owners of motorvehicles in the region can not use their units without the registration papers or its photo copy in their possessin.

The photo copied registration, he said,  must be authenticated by LTO-9.

Lamping explained that in case their unit is newly acquired from a car dealer and the registration certificates from LTO 9 office is still under process,  the owner can use the official receipt issued by the dealer with the  certificates from the insurance company where it is insured.

Lamping urged motorvehicle owners to diligently bring the records or authentication records because the law excuses no one.

On the other hand, Lamping disclosed that the revenue collection of the Law Enforcer Division for the month of June has reached P 1.1 million or much more than what was collectted in the same month last year. The earnings  are from violations of  the Traffic Code of the Philippines and other pertinent traffic laws.    In June last year, the  revenue collection reached only more than P200,000. — Allen Abastillas
