Parra assumes as PAF’s 3rd Air Division chief PDF Print E-mail

Brig. Gen. Conrado V. Parra Jr. assumed on Monday as commander of the 3rd  Air Division of the Philippine Air Force based at Edwin Andrews Air Base in Sta. Maria.

Parra were installed by Philippine Air Force commanding general Lt. Gen. Jeffrey F. Delgado.

He succeeded Maj. Gen. Emeraldo C. Magnaye.

Delgado commended Magnaye for a job well done as 3rd Air Division was awarded as the best  division of the Philippine Air Force. The award was handed over to Magnaye by President Aquino during a recent celebration.

Delgado said that Parra can continue the good job and the service to the people of Mindanao initiated by Magnaye.

“ Parra is capable and well verse for peace and war. He is competent to lead 3rd Air Division. Handang marserbisyo sa sakuna, kapayapayaan at progreso ng mga mamayan ng Mindanao at sa buong bayan,” Delgado said.

Parra for his part said he is very excited to serve the people of Mindanao and help the local government units in its endeavors.

“We have to fight all enemies of the state here, the BIFF, ASG, NPA and other lawless groups,” Parra said. — Allen Abastillas
