The Zamboanga City Beta Sigma Fraternity Alumni Assembly held its election and induction of officers during the fraternity’s 69th Founding Anniversary advanced celebration last  Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Terra Cotta Resort in Tumaga.

Land Bank Veterans Branch Manager Brod Rodolfo Luceñada, MSU 75b, was elected as the President of the Assembly for a two-year term. The other elected officers were: Brod Mario Ariola, MSU 77a – 1st Vice President for Internal Affairs; Brod Tito Espiritusanto, ADZU 72 – 2nd Vice President for External Affairs; Brod Bong Romero, Fatima 94 – Secretary; Brod Joselito Quimson, WMSU 79 – Assistant Secretary; Brod Anecito Darunday, ABC 70 – Treasurer; Brod Jimmy Ferrer, U-Pang 76 – Assistant Treasurer; Brod Alvin Asingua, WMSU 99b – Auditor; Brod Ramon Covarrubias, ADZU 80b – PIO; Brod Rashdi Yasin, NDJ79 – Business Manager; Brods Allen Schuck, WMSU 79 and Salman Galang – Sergeants at Arms and Brod Eliezer Mojica, MSU 81 – Ex Officio member.

Retired Bangko Sentral Regional Manager Brod Mel Patiño, ADZU 71 inducted the newly elected officers and was also the Keynote Speaker. Former MSU Jolo Chancellor, Brod Samsula Adju MSU gave the Inspirational message where he talked about being a Beta Sigman and his relations with God, Country, Family, School, Fraternity and One Self.

Meanwhile, the Beta Sigma Fraternity Western Mindanao State University Chapter will conduct its annual “Operation Free-Ride”, from WMSU Main Campus to Town proper and vice versa, on July 14, 2015 Tuesday morning, the Fraternity’s actual Foundation Day, with this year’s motto: “Feels Fine @ 69. — Brod Ramon Covarrubias ADZU 80b-ZCBSFAA PIO
