Laborer hacked dead PDF Print E-mail

A 24-year-old man was hacked to death at Purok 1, Bunkhouse, Taluksangay last Friday night, while a wanted person was arrested in Tumaga-Putik Road, according to police reports.

The Culianan police station identified the fatality in the Taluksangay hacking as Aljabar Kaman, married and a laborer. He sustained a hack wound in the neck and died on the spot. He was hacked by Judis Umbok, 27, also a laborer.

Investigation disclosed that Kaman went to the house of Umbok to get something around 7:00 p.m. However the latter who was armed with a bolo suddenly attacked him.

Police said the bolo attack took place during a long-hour blackout in the east coast.

Kaman was arrested immediately by Wahid Del Rosario, barangay councilor of Taluksangay and was turned over to the Culianan Police Station.

On the same day, policemen led by Chief Insp. Edilberto Alvarez and Sr. Insp. Arlan Delumpines arrested Arnulfo Lambo Jr., No. 7 wanted man in police list.

Lambo was nabbed on the strength of a warrant for murder and frustrated murder issued by Judge Catherine C Fabian, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 16 on February 27, 2015.
