Universidad de Zamboanga (UZ) is now Senior High School (SHS) Ready. UZ has been granted the SHS Program Permit by the Department of Education Region IX to offer Senior High School (Grade 11-12) beginning School Year 2016-2017.  This is made possible through the office of the DepEd Regional Director, Region IX, Government Permit No. 0006, Series of 2015 signed by Malcolm Garma (CESO V, Director III, and OIC-DepEd R9).

UZ-SHS will offer the tracks on ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management), STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), GAS (General Academic Subjects), and TecVoc (Technical Vocational Courses). The UZ High School Department has intensified the course outline of these offerings in preparation for higher education and employability.

Grade 10 Junior High School students both from public and private secondary institutions may proceed to Grade 11-12 as Senior High Students in UZ-SHS which has invested in various new facility and laboratories for quality learning investment.

The UZ High School Department specifically the Arturo Eustaquio Memorial Science High School (AEMSHS) and Technical Science High School (THS) are also open for Grade 7 Junior High School Level to Grade 12 Senior High School Level.
