A couple was held up by six men in Tumaga Porcentro Sunday night.

The victims were identified as Christopher Bulilan, 48, and his live-in-partner Merunda Ponio, 48, both of Mango Drive in Tumaga, They were with their driver Steven Solilon aboard a tricycle going to Tumaga Porcentro around 9:42 p.m. when six men aboard two motorcycles blocked their way.

The suspects alighted from their motorcycles and poked their handguns while announcing a holdup.

The suspects grabbed a gray Jansport backpack containing a wallet with some pertinent documents, Lenovo cellphone, Cherry mobile phone, and his live in partner’s wallet containing P 3,000 and more or less P 150, 000 earnings of their store located along Putik road.

Bulilan said hat one of the suspects also took the necklace with Jesus Christ pendant from his neck before speeding away.

The victims rushed to the Sta. Maria Police Station and reported the heist. – Dan Toribio Jr.
