Officials of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Central Office are in Zamboanga City to conduct ocular inspection of the Land Transportation Office-9 and its different District Offices regarding the ongoing construction of comfort rooms.

LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton said the DOTC team will conduct inspection of the Zamboanga City Licensing office, Ipil District Office and Buug in Zamboanga Sibugay, Dipolog City and Sindangan in Zamboanga del Norte, Pagadian City and Molave in Zamboanga del Sur and Isabela City District Office.

One DOTC official said that they are inspecting if LTO-9 is complying with the completion of the project as LTO is under DOTC.

The construction of comfort rooms is intended to give LTO clients convenient services  while applying  and waiting for the processing of their documents.

Abaton said the construction of comfort rooms is part of the delivery of quality time management and efficient services to clients.

The project involves three comfort rooms for females and persons with disability and six rooms for males. Abaton is also optimistic that some of his district offices will be awarded by Civil Service Commission with Seal of Excellence. — Allen Abastillas
