Man stabbed by drinking buddy PDF Print E-mail

A 30-year-old man was stabbed and seriously wounded by his drinking buddy in Barangay Curuan last Friday night.
The victim was identified as Henry Napolis, single. He was stabbed by Romeo Salazar.

Napolis sustained a stab wound in the right portion of the chest and was taken to the Crispino Paragas Memorial Hospital and was later was transferred to the Zamboanga City Medical Center for further medication.

A police report disclosed that Napolis, Salazar and Roger Mariano had a drinking spree at a videoke bar in Sitio Basagan, Curuan. Around 8:10 p.m., they left the place and walked their way home.

Along the way, they stopped at a dimly lit corner to answer a call of nature, but Salazar reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Napolis without any word.
Police said Napolis escaped after the incident and was placed under manhunt operation. — Dan Toribio Jr.
