A couple lost their valuables to two holduppers in Culianan last Thursday night.

Police identified the victims as Alberto Santos Carpio, 48, a family driver and his wife Jocelyn Fernandez Carpio, a midwife, both residents of Nazareth Drive, Culianan.

Initial investigation disclosed that Alberto was driving a motorcycle with his wife as backrider, on their way home from the city proper when two men riding tandem on another motorcycle blocked their path around 11:35 Calle San Isidro,

Police said the two men announced the heist at gunpoint. One of the two suspects grabbed the sling bag of Jocelyn containing My Phone cellphone worth more or less P 5,000, gold bracelet worth P1,500, a wristwatch, Land Bank ATM card, BPI ATM card, PRC,  BIR, Phil Health, Pag-IBIG, SSS and Puericulture Hospital I.D. cards.
