“The late former city vice mayor was an exemplary public servant, a simple, caring and good woman. She was a great friend and an adviser. But above all, she was a loving wife to her wonderful husband and lifetime partner Rodolfo, and devoted mother to her wonderful children,” the executive order states.

It added “her untimely demise has deprived the Zamboangueño community of a great person who had only the interest of the citizenry in her heart. She lived her colorful life like a poetry in motion, and she shall always be a part of the rich and great history of Zamboanga, Asia’s Latin City.”
