The two congressional district offices here have provided relief assistance to the 140 families displaced by fire on Monday in an east coast barangay of this city.

First district Rep. Celso Lobregat and second district Lilia Nuño led the distribution Friday of the kitchen utensils and family food packs to the fire victims who are temporarily housed at the Talon-Talon National High School.

The staffs and volunteers of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) local chapter assisted Lobregat and Nuño in the distribution of the relief goods.

Talon-Talon Barangay Chairman Teodyver Arquiza said he will seek the assistance of the city government in case the land owner decides to use his property.
