by Jubels SantosCongressman Celso Lobregat announced that local televiewers can watch the proceedings in Congress particularly on matters related to the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) on a delayed telecast on SKYCABLE’s Channel 57.

Lobregat made this disclosure during the commemorative lunch he tendered on Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Royce Convention Hall, Grand Astoria Hotel, to remember the time seven (7) years ago when Zamboangueños united in defense of Zamboanga, Mindanao, the Constitution and the Republic.

Lobregat said Channel 57 will serve as a vehicle for disseminating information as it will be airing in full length the proceedings in Congress such as the Ad-Hoc Committee hearings on the BBL, his interpellations with Ad Hoc Committee Chairman, Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, Rep. Henry Oaminal and Rep. Romeo Acop. The interpellations by Lobregat lasted for 10 hours in a span of five days.

The same channel will also air video recordings of other important developments in Congress that are of interest to local residents, and keep the local community abreast with what is happening in the halls of the country’s legislative body on certain issues affecting the City or the region.

Local televiewers can watch the committee hearings on the BBL, in both Houses of Congress, including the time when the BBL is deliberated in the plenary sessions, by way of delayed telecast, on SKYCABLE’s Channel 57 as this channel will be on-the-air 24/7, meaning 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. — Jubels Santos
