Mayor Beng Climaco motored to Sitio Marangan in barangay Muti to bring the wide-array of local services of the Dia de Alcalde yesterday, September 4.

Geared towards local development and inclusion, the Dia de Alcalde caravan was held at the Marangan Elementary School and was personally spearheaded by Mayor Beng Climaco whose advocacies include priority thrusts on security, health, and education.

Accompanying the chief executive were personnel of local government offices who provided free medical, dental, veterinary, registration, agriculture, and social services.

Also joining the service roster were men and women of the Philippine Army and Marines who provided free haircut, and personnel from the Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company who provided boxes of medicines as well as two doctors and two dentists to support the medical outreach mission of the local government.

Muti barangay chairperson Henry B. Aring, together with residents who flocked the caravan, expressed his gratitude to Climaco and the Dia de Alcalde team for their presence and service.

The Dia de Alcalde is a service-oriented program regularly spearheaded by Mayor Beng Climaco in a bid to bring the local government closer to grassroots communities, and to ensure availability and access of barangays to mission-critical services.  — Jasmine Mohammadsali
