The chief executive disclosed there are still around 35,000 residents who are not yet validated with COMELEC.

With little over a month left before the validation deadline on October 31, Climaco also urged the COMELEC to reach out to as many residents as possible, even offering the use of Centro Latino for validation purposes, if need be.

The COMELEC City office earlier appealed to all registered voters in the city to submit themselves for validation on or before October 31, 2015 or they will not be allowed to vote in the May 9 synchronized national and local elections.
