Police scored big in two drug bust operations Monday, taking in 13 suspects.

Men of the Tetuan Police Station led by Supt. Nonito Asdai and Special Investigation Unit headed by Supt. Felix Martinez conducted a buy-bust operation around 5 p.m. in Teresa Drive, Talon-Talon resulting in the arrest of 10 persons.

A police report disclosed that police operatives were targeting Juanito Perez alias Bajuk, 38, married, of Teresa Drive, Talon-Talon and Abdulasis Ancheta alias Asis, 28, single, of Alvarez Drive, Mampang.

However during the operation, police caught eight users along with Perez and Ancheta engaging in a shabu session at a vacant lot.

Police arrested Perez and Ancheta and the eight users identified as Richie Medina, Jerry Caming, Eric Medina, Ian Resureccion, Yadzar Muksan, Reynaldo Ong, all of Talon-Talon, Benjar Kilisan of Arena Blanco and Alyasser Abdulrajik of Nazareth, San Jose.

Confiscated from their possession were five sachets of shabu, P300 marked money and several drug paraphernalia.

It was learned that two of the eight users were criminology students.

Earlier on the same day around 1 p.m., men of the Sta. Maria police station led by Supt. Haywien Salvado conducted a buy-bust operation in San Roque Flea Market resulting in the arrest of Henry Santos y Bernardo, 44, single, Gilbert Santos y Yakapib, 36, single, both of San Roque and Roel Bacaso y Corpus, 28, single, of Upper Cabatangan.

Police recovered from their possession three small size sachets, one medium size sachet containing shabu, marked money and drug paraphernalia.
