Four more persons arrested Tuesday  in Putik and Tulungatung in a continuing citywide crackdown against illegal drugs, particularly shabu or methampetamine hydrochlroride.

Men of the Divisoria Police Station led by Chief Insp. Arlan Delumpines arrested Jessirey Ismael alias Adik, 28, of Putik and Herbert Ramirez, 42, of A&W Subdivision Putik during a buy-bust operation around 4:57 p.m. Confiscated from the suspects’ possession two sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and a .22 cal. revolver with five rounds of ammunition.

Around 5:30 p.m. policemen of the Ayala Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tulungatung resulting in the arrest of Ronald Natividad, 28, married and Jum Natividad, 33, Both of Purok 3, Recodo.

Confiscated from their possession were five sachets of shabu, P200 marked money and drug paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects were detained, while the seized items were forwarded to the 9th PNP Crime Laboratory for examinations pending the filing of charges in court.  – Dan Toribio Jr.
