Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde, now acting city mayor in the absence of Mayor Beng Climaco, led Thursday the “Dia del Alcalde” outreach in Barangay Tictapul, east of this city.

While there, Iturralde took the opportunity to distribute agar-agar farming tools to farmers from Tictapul and nearby barangay of Licomo.

The tools were donated by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to the city government through the City Agriculturist Office.

Meanwhile, the outreach mission has served more or less 500 mostly indigent residents of the village, with women and children including the elderlies availing of the medical services.

The young adults availed of the free tooth extraction.

Other services included agri-fisheries, veterinary and civil registry.

All services were brought free of charges by the city offices led by the City Health Office, City Agriculturist, City Veterinary, Civil Registrar.—Vic Larato
