Roel “Elong” Natividad, Myra Abubakar and Percival Ramos are the three most travelled councilors based on a report of travel expenses from the City Council, a copy of which was furnished by lawyer Abelardo “Tonggo” Climaco, himself a former councilor and vice mayor.

The travel expenses report, prepared by Administrative Officer Edeline S. Miranda and noted by City Secretary Zenaida Jayme, showed Natividad incurred a total of P624,723.26 travel expenseds from January 2013 to September 2015. Abubakar followed with P586,354.26 and third is Ramos with P561,164.40.

The other councilors having big expenses on travel are Councilors Rommel Agan (P486,553.32), Charlie Mariano (486,483.70), Luis Biel III ( P477,810.99) and Vincent Paul Elago (P472,083..60).

Four councilors spent quite small in travel from 2013 to 2015. They are Miguel Alavar (P42,761.33), Rodolfo Bayot (P48, 178.17), Melchor Sadain (P70,864.04) and Rogelio “Gerky” Valesco (P96,714.43).

All in all, the city government spent  a total of P5,673,134.06 for travel expenses among the City Council members from January 2013 to September 2015.
