Hafsa T. Aspi. officer-in-charge of the Land Transportation Office -9 Driver License Renewal Center based in Yubengco Mall in Barangay Putik has advised drivers who renewed their licenses and were issued official receipt  to use it as temporary driver license as they drive their motorvehicles.

Aspi said that a directive from the LTO central office issued to the renewal center advises drivers to use temporarily  the official receipt as their driver license because the new printing machines for plastic driver license cards will be coming to DLRC soon.

Under the directive, DLRC will no longer issue a separate paper for temporary driver license. Any driver who renewed his license is advised to  use the official receipt as a temporary driver license.

Aspi also advised people to transact business or renew their licenses directly to personnel inside DLRC where there are LTO personnel waiting for them.

She reminded people who want to renew their license not to talk to people regarding their renewal status outside DLRC premises. They  should go straight to  DLRC for the renewal of their licenses. Fixers are not allowed in her office. Renewal of documents is very personal.

Aspi thanked LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton for his full support to DLRC and giving a rating grade of excellence in the delivery of quality time management  and efficient services to LTO clients in DLRC. — Allen Abastillas
