Myra, Beng, KRK give school supplies to Mariki pupils PDF Print E-mail

The Mariki Elementary School received school supplies from District 1 Councilor Myra Paz Valderosa Abubakar, office of Congresswoman Beng Climaco and the Knights of the Right Keepers (KRK) fraternity during its 41st anniversary yesterday.

Abubakar expressed appreciation on KRK’s concern for the indigent pupils of Mariki Elementary School when the fraternity requested for assistance from her and from  Climaco for school supplies for the poor pupils.

Several KRK members under its president Haji. Mijar Tapsir, who were present during the affair thanked Abubakar and Climaco for their support to their objective to serve the poor people in the community.

In her message, Abubakar said the KRK fraternity is not just a brotherhood group but is also responsible for rendering service to the community like the giving of supplies to the pupils of Mariki Elementary School.

The KRK fraternity started in the city 41 years ago and many of its original members are now professionals and successful businessmen.
The current vice president of KRK fraternity, Nonito Aranas, barangay chairman of Zone II, said that the fraternity’s number of members have reached 17,000.
