The Highway Patrol Group-9 Provincial Unit in Zamboanga  del Norte recently conducted road  safety seminar for the drivers of Rural Transit Bus.

Inspector Ariel Yogyog, chief, HPG-9 ZDNPU, said his team conducted the seminar to remind drivers that they should always drive carefully for the safety of the passengers on the road.

Yogyog reminded drivers to drive with extra care and due diligence as a good father of the family because life is precious.

“They should always check the condition of their vehicles that they are driving for road safetiness  and their tools before going mobile for prevention of accident,” Yogyog said.

Yogyog and his men will also conduct road safety  seminars and lectures  on the traffic laws and detection of carnap motorvehicles in selected schools in Dipolog City.

“ We would like to impart our knowledge to students  on the importance of road safety, in obeying traffic laws and detection of carnapped motorvehicles. Working with people and coordination with them is really a big support to our unit to be successful in our mandate to enforce the traffic laws most especially in the different highways in the region,” Yogyog pointed out. — Allen Abastillas
