As the grand Zamboanga Hermosa Festival reaches its peak, Mayor Beng Climaco reminded again the public yesterday to cooperate with the police and other law enforcers as they are strictly implementing temporary security and traffic regulations for the duration of the festival.

Climaco particularly called the public attention to the provisions of Executive Order No. BC141-2015, which prohibits everybody from wearing hooded jackets, bull caps, and bringing of backpacks at any and all sites or venues of the different programs and activities for the duration of the festival.

Motorcycles are also not allowed to park in those areas as earlier announced.

The month-long festival kicked off last Thursday; since then series of programs and activities have been continuously conducted every day and night, attracting thousands of participants and spectators from different walks of life.

Thus, Climaco stressed the need for everybody in the city to be reminded of the security measures being implemented by the local police force and military.

She also urged the people going to Paseo del Mar not to park their vehicles inside the complex on the dates earlier specified.

The public is also reminded to observe the temporary traffic rerouting scheme, the closure of certain streets, the one-way streets, etc. for orderly conduct of festival activities.— Vic Larato
