PRO-9 chief to HPG-9: Educate folks on traffic laws PDF Print E-mail

“Let’s help one another educate the people on what is good and the bad effects in violating the traffic laws. Let’s teach them and enforce discipline for nation building.”

Thus said Police Regional Office-9 Director Chief Supt. Miguel C. Antonio Jr. as he talked to  officers and members of the Highway Patrol Group -9 Regional Advisory Council-9 ( HGP-9-RAC- 9 ) during their courtesy call at his office at Camp Abendan in Barangay Mercedes Wednesday.

Antonio cited the  good performance in the enforcement of traffic laws by HPG men as they impose discipline among motorists in  Metro Manila.

He advised Sr. Supt. Joel R. Dimaano, chief, HPG-9, to also conduct traffic operations with the Land Transportation Office-9 and Regional Advisory Council- 9 to enforce discipline on road traffic and safety as Zamboanga City where many motorists do not follow the road rules.

Antonio also suggested a joint project among PRO-9,  HPG -9-RAC-9 and LTO-9 involving seminars on traffic laws and other pertinent laws on traffic solutions for the Police Traffic Enforcers in the region.

RAC- 9 Chairman Atty. Jose Rizalino Ortega, Sr. Supt. Dimaano and LTO- 9 ARD Yusuf Lamping and the members were unanimous in supporting  the proposal of Antonio.
