Police were looking on two robberies that took place in a residence house and in a motel Friday night and at dawn Saturday.

The first robbery took place around 9:30 p.m. at the house of Josephine Sumili, 48, married, at Justina Village, Putik.

Police said the robbers carted away assorted jewelry pieces worth P50,000 and one Acer tablet worth P10,000.

Initial investigation disclosed that the thieves entered at the back part of the house by destroying window jalousie blades.

Police said that Sumili and her husband arrived home around 9:30 p.m. coming from work when they discovered the robbery.

At 4 a.m. Saturday, four gunmen arrived at the Lucky Star Motel at Cadena De Amor, Guiwan and immediately announced the heist.

The holduppers took P20,000 in cash from the cashier. — Dan Toribio Jr.
