Mayor Beng Climaco yesterday formally acknowledged the men and women whose efforts and contributions paved the way for the successful conduct of the recently concluded Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2015.

In simple recognition ceremonies, Climaco presented to the security forces, private and business groups, local government offices, civilian force multipliers, and volunteers certificates of recognition acknowledging their contributions and their role behind the Hermosa Festival celebrations.

“Gracias a Dios y Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar por el guia y proteccion que ya resulta na pacifico y exitoso celebracion de Zambo Hermosa Festival. We commend the residents, the police and military, force multipliers and volunteers for their tireless efforts,” said Climaco during the Monday flag raising ceremonies at City Hall, October 19.

Among those recognized were Globe Telecom, San Miguel Brewery Corp., major sponsors Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc., Universal Robina Corp., Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc., Nature Spring Water, Grand Astoria Hotel, Cignal TV, Alavar Bed and Breakfast, minor sponsors West Metro Medical Center, LM Metro Hotel, and Ticket One, and volunteer groups Ignite, Kabalikat Civicom, and D’Alert.

Climaco also praised the commanders and members of the different units of the armed forces comprising the security forces.

“Todo sila ya ase esfuerzo proteje el ciudad,” said Climaco.
