Public Works and Highways Secretary Rogelio Singson has invited all agencies involved in the Zamboanga City Roadmap to Reconstruction and Rehabilitation (Z3R) projects to a meeting on Oct. 28 in Manila.

Engr. Al Indanan, district manager of the National Housing Authority, told the press briefing in City Hall yesterday that the meeting aims primarily to assess and review any updates of the Z3R projects.

He said Sec. Singson would want to find out the status of all 19 projects under the Z3R, to look into the issues and concerns hampering the implementation, and find possible solutions.

Indanao said the meeting will be attended by officials of all agencies and stakeholders involved in the implementation of the Z3R projects, such as the housing units, road networks, and other structures.

To date, the NHA head said, 7 of 19 Z3R projects have already been completed and awarded to the beneficiaries, the internally displaced persons (IDPs).

He said the two other projects that include the development of waterlines amounting to P25 million are still subject for bidding.

All Z3R projects are targeted for completion by January 2016, but the Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) had requested to have the Z3R projects completed in December 2015.— Vic Larato
