An unidentified man was shot to death at the Chinese cemetery in San Roque Tuesday night.

The victim sustained bullet wounds in the body and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Policemen recovered six spent shells of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

The victim was clad in a camouflage shorts, gray sweat shirt, having skin head haircut, and 35 to 40 years old.

Supt. Haywien Salvado, Sta. Maria Police Station chief, said the victim was not a resident of San Roque as no one could identify him.

Salvado quoted witnesses as saying that the victim was driving a Rouser motorcycle with two companions back riding. They arrived at the Chinese cemetery around 9:30 p.m. and a couple of minutes later, the witnesses heard six successive shots and later discovered the victim already bloodied while the gunmen and his motorcycle were already missing. – Dan Toribio Jr.
