City Government employees will receive their remaining year-end bonus and cash gift November 16.

This, pursuant to a memorandum issued by Mayor Beng Climaco on October 27 directing the release of the said benefits to qualified employees on November 16.

The payment of the year-end bonus and cash gift is pursuant to Budget Circular No. 2010-1 dated April 28, 2010 of the Department of Budget and Management and Budget Circular No. 2014-05 dated October 13, 2013 issued by the City Mayor to prescribe the rules and regulations on the grant of year-end bonus and cash gift for 2014 and years thereafter.

The year-end bonus is equivalent to one-half of the one (1) month basic pay as of October 31 of the year.

In addition, a cash gift of P5000 shall be granted to each personnel who has rendered at least a total or aggregate of four (4) months of service from January 1 to October 31 of the same year.

The city mayor has advised city department heads and offices to prepare their payrolls to facilitate the processing of the Obligation Request (ObR). The disbursement of the year-end bonus and cash gift shall be in accordance with the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. — Claudine Uniana
