A 5th year engineering student of the Western Mindanao State University was gunned down at the interior of Johnston Subdivision in Baliwasan at dawn yesterday.

Killed was Abdurahman Omar y Alamia, 23, of Villa Teresa Subdivision in Culianan. He sustained multiple bullet wounds in the body and died while underging treatment at the hospital.

A police report disclosed that Omar left Omar compound in San Jose where he was temporarily residing and proceeded to Johnston Subdivision aboard a Honda XRM motorcycle to fetch a certain Nip.

However when he arrived at the said place at past midnight,  a gunman appeared and shot him several times.

Policemen recovered six spent shells and a slug of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.
