District 1 Congressman Celso Lobregat trekked the mountains of Limpapa together with representatives of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Department of Agriculture (DA) to geo-tag the location of a proposed P10-million farm-to-market road. Earlier, Congressman Lobregat coordinated with Limpapa Barangay Chairman Antonio Lacaser to pinpoint the priority location of the proposed road.

Lobregat said this proposed road project is in addition to the two on-going road opening projects being constructed, one at sitio Masalag, and the other at sitio Lacumba.

The opening of road at sitio Masalag has an appropriation of P2-million while the road opening at sitio Lacumba has a  P3-million budget.  Both projects are 78 % complete, as reported by DPWH. The project is being undertaken by Greyrock Construction.

The two road opening projects were identified by Lobregat and funded under the GAA 2015 Budget. — Jubels Santos
