The Land Transportation Office-9 Driver License Renewal Center located at Yubengco Mall in Putik has advised clients to renew their license card without bringing a National Bureau of Investigation  document and  police clearance.

LTO9-DLRC Officer in Charge Hafsa T. Aspi disclosed that  she has received a directive from LTO-9 Director Aminola P. Abaton that requirements of NBI clearance and police clearance are suspended.

“ This is the directive that I received from Dir. Abaton. It says that ‘Please be advised that  requirements for NBI and Police clearance for Professional Driver license application or renewal is suspended. We will  not anymore require it,” Aspi said.

She also said that her office is now starting to print driver license cards from its backlog due to the non-availability of printing machine since January.          Aspi’s staff will print within the capacity of the printing machine because the office has only one unit working station for the printing license card. — Allen Abastillas
